Domestic & international shipping
Domestic orders are shipped via USPS or UPS Ground. Orders are processed daily, and usually ship within 2 business days of when you place the order. When your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number that includes package details and estimated delivery date. Packages typically arrive within 5-10 business days. Please be aware that holidays and weather related delays may change the ship dates or the package delivery date.
International orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. International customers are responsible for paying all necessary duties, taxes, fees, customs, etc. Packages may take up to 4 weeks to arrive. We currently offer a flat rate shipping to the Canada and UK. Please contact us for a custom shipping rate outside those two countries.

The Mountain Thread Company is known for attention to detail and high quality work, and we stand by our commitment to provide amazing craft supplies and products!
Unopened / uncut spools of rope, spoolettes, and kits may be returned within 30 days of your order for a refund on the price of the merchandise only.
Cut lengths of rope, fabric, baskets, custom work, and some additional items are not refundable except in the case of a defective or damaged item, or incorrect item shipped. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Shipping charges are nonrefundable. Refund will be issued within 5 business days of the return package arriving to The Mountain Thread Company, based on inspection by staff of new / like new condition.

You must notify us of your return shipment before sending the items. If there is no advance notice of the return, it may not be eligible for refund.
Return shipping charges, fees, insurance, tracking etc will be the responsibility of the customer. The item must be packaged securely, and shipped via the carrier of your choice. Please note - USPS shipments must be directed to our PO Box. UPS and Fedex shipments must be directed to the street address. Email us for details.
Please provide us with a tracking number. Keep the tracking number for your own records as well. The Mountain Thread Company is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
Buyers are responsible for ensuring they understand the measurements of all items before purchase.
