Try cute (maybe even spooky) coasters, perfect for the upcoming Fall weather! Start off with regular coasters, then fabric wrap the last 4-5 inches to create a stump look. We just used a combo of the straight stitch and zigzag stitch on the same machine used to sew the coasters together.
Make a treat bowl like this by repurposing the Easter Basket pattern in Zigzag Rope Sewing Projects. You’ll need about 18 yards of rope to make the pattern; more or less rope can give you a bigger bowl.

This rope is a solid braid construction in a cotton/poly blend (approximately 80% cotton). It is custom made in North Carolina, USA for The Mountain Thread Company.
The bundle option is available in 10 yard increments. Multiple quantities will be sent as one continuous length.
We recommend the use of a heavy duty needle and a high quality thread for your rope sewing projects. Check out our color matched thread.
